Paying it Forward!

We'd been waiting for a party — and it finally arrived — all thanks to you!

Because you've given us your time (by attending events at our office, filling out surveys online, or by simply answering polls on our Facebook page), our staff decided to pay it forward by giving our time as well.

So with much excitement, on June 7th, our GenSpan team volunteered at the Reading Hospital's 2011 Garden Party! We had so much fun working the prize booth and helping little ones pick out goodies and toys! It was inspiring to see so many families and friends come out to support such a great cause and we were delighted to see so many smiling faces!

The proceeds from the Garden Party help provide educational videos for parents of newborns, books for ailing children and even stocking caps and t-shirts for babies born at the hospital.

Lend a Hand

GenSpan is excited to be volunteering at the Reading Hospital's 2011 Garden Party — and it's all thanks to you! For each research event that GenSpan-ers participated in, our team accrued volunteer hours so that they could give back to the little lives in our community.

So bring the whole family and join in on the fun at this annual festivity, with proceeds benefitting the Friends of the Reading Hospital. These proceeds will help go towards services such as:

• providing educational videos for parents of newborns
• books for children in pediatrics and children's health services
• t-shirts for babies born at the Reading Hospital
