Not only does your opinion help us, but it helps others in our community as well. For each research event that GenSpan holds, our staff will volunteer a portion of their time with the Friends of the Reading Hospital.

The Friends of the Reading Hospital is an organization of people who are passionate about improving the quality of health care in Berks County (home of GenSpan).

They help out by volunteering and raising funds to support new hospital services such as:

• providing educational videos for parents of newborns
• books for children in pediatrics and children's health services
• t-shirts for babies born at the Reading Hospital

With initiatives like these, we just couldn't resist helping out the new little lives in our area.
